Slow Install/Update Speed on Windows Systems? (Toolbox)
I use JetBrains Products on several Linux System's. Updates perform very well here (avg ~30sek).
Unfortunately i got one Windows System. Although it's installed on a ssd, updates take a long time (avg ~10min).
Is there a specific reason or is it just poor NTFS or Win-Reg performance?

Not sure it's OS specific. We are aware of some performance issues, but they are OS independent.
Could you please clarify the following things:
Does it happen on a single Windows machine?
Does it happen to major updates e.g. from 2017.2 to 2017.3 or to patch updates e.g. 2017.3.XXXX to 2017.3.YYYY? Or both?
Also, Toolbox logs will be much appreciated.

Hey guys, I can confirm this also. At work and at home update takes ages (both Windows + SSD). After downloading (instantly) it starts to wait about 10 mins. The Cancel button doesn't interrupt the process. I'm using EAP builds at the moment.
