Jetbrains Toolbox won't update.

Everytime I've tried to update Toolbox in this new year I keep getting this error message: "Failed to install JetBrains Toolbox 1.13.4801 (Feb 6 2019): Update: unable to rename C:/Path/To/Toolbox/bin.new to C:/Path/To/Toolbox/bin, terminating update. Please re-install JetBrains Toolbox manually"

I have already manually installed Toolbox but that didn't solve the issue. Does anybody have anybody what the problem could be?

I have this problem, but on Linux Mint 19.1, with a clean install. Whenever I try to start toolbox, it gives me exactly the same error and I cannot launch it to install the other Apps.

To follow up, there's a flag you can pass --log-path to tell it where to write the logs, if you set that to somewhere you can easily access, then you can check the logs to see what it's doing up to the point of failure. In my case, while this was a clean install of the OS, I didn't delete my old home directory, and I had some bad links remaining that caused the install to fail when it attempted to create some files.

Once I fixed that problem, everything installed properly.

I hope that helps.
