For some reason, whenever I try to start any version (IU or IC) of IJ, it starts to display the UI, then starts throwing exceptions, then only the tip dialog survives. This is a totally new behavior. Nothing has changed that I know of on my machine since yesterday when it wasn't doing this. I tried installing via toolbox but get the same result.
So I want to just remove all traces of Jetbrains from my computer and start over rather than try to troubleshoot by posting error messages and having back and forths and all that.
So now my question is, on Linux (Mint 19) what folders contain files that I need to blow away? What files and or folders are created when I install or run IJ or other JB products, supposing I take the default, which I always do.
