Synchronization of projects

I'm migrating to a new machine, where the directory layout of my source code and projects will be exactly the same as on the old laptop.

IntelliJ offers the feature to sync settings, themes, plugins and so on, which is working perfectly fine.

However it does not sync the projects that the IDE should know in terms of recent projects or the list of projects that is shown in the toolbox app.

Is there a way to sync or copy the the list of IntelliJ projects from the old laptop onto the new one?
