JetBrains Chrome Extension adding ^M to all line endings when cloning project from GitHub

I've noticed that whenever I clone a project from GitHub using the Chrome Extension, all the line endings are modified according to git status.

It seems like it is disregarding the line ending settings I have in RubyMine.
