Unable to login
Toolbox App 1.17.6856, Windows 10.0
I cannot login to the toolbox app. When I click the Log In link, I'm take to the jetbrains site to Approve access, it then asks me if it's ok to open the Toolbox app, to which I confirm, but it still doesn't log me in to the app.
I have tried using IE, Chrome and Edge browsers, all have the same outcome.
I have a valid licence, but this is preventing me from being able to use ReSharper.
I've uploaded the toolbox.log file to https://pastebin.com/TUNF7t4r
Please advise.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The bug was fixed in 1.17.6864.
Let us know if you still experience the same problem by creating an issue in our issue tracker at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/TBX.
Thank you so much Marina, I confirm that now is all ok.
Regards
I have this problem in 1.18.7609 on Windows 10. I tried it with Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Could my username cause this? The 'Ö' looks crazy in the path: Ö

Same problem for me - just bought RubyMine license to stop restarting after 30 minutes and I can't login to jetbrains toolbox in Ubuntu (via vm player). In windows 10 everything works. Version is 1.18.7609. I hope something could be done with it.
@..., hi! Could you please file an issue at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newissue?project=TBX&clearDraft=true&draftId=25-3110422, and attach the logs (https://www.jetbrains.com/toolbox-app/faq/#collect-logs). We will investigate.
I was on an older version of JetBrains Toolbox (unsure of the actual version) and was having this issue (on Windows 10). I was able to get past it by disabling the proxy in Toolbox App Settings:
After doing this, I was able to successfully log in the Toolbox App.
version 270 48109. Says to log in then just spins and spins forever. When I click on the trouble link, it gives me a huge code to paste in but there's nowhere in the toolbox app to paste it so I am not sure what good that code really is.
The old way always worked for me. Does this mean no toolbox app for me until I get this resolved? i have to download everything one thing at a time and set it them up?
Linux Mint / Brave browser. most recent ejverything.
Second alternative authorisation method for any browser authorisation problems.
When you click on ‘Troubleshooting...', log in to your browser, copy the token, reopen the Toolbox App, and you will see where to paste it. A field will appear in the same place where this button was.
Does it help?
I'm seeing the same issue with the toolbox where the normal toolbox login doesn't work, and the alternative login (via “troubleshooting”) just shows a spinning ring forever.
Version string: JetBrains Toolbox 2.8.1.52155, manjaro (Linux 6.12.41-1-MANJARO), x64
I'm having the same issue.
Fresh Ubuntu install, Fresh Toolbox install.
JetBrains Toolbox 2.8.1.52155, ubuntu 25.04 (Linux 6.14.0-29-generic), x64
UPDATE: I was finally able to login with the Toolbox. I fully closed the toolbox (through the Quit Toolbar App option in the status indicator), then I restarted the computer. When the computer restarted, and I logged in, the Toolbox App auto-started, and I was able to login then.
Same issue with the toolbox where the normal toolbox login doesn't work. It keeps sending me to authorization screen and will not let me log in. I've tried with different browsers and keep getting the same problem. I need this to work for me please. How do i fix this?
We need more info to troubleshoot the issue. Please specify the following:
1. Do you use Linux in a virtual machine?
2. Do you have any other browser windows or tabs open with account.jetbrains.com? If so, please try closing them all and logging in again via Toolbox.
In the meantime, if you need to activate the IDE, you do so without a Toolbox app as described here (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/register.html#activation-with-jetbrains-account).
