Toolbox fails to login
Version: JetBrains Toolbox 1.21.9473, Ubuntu 21.04 (Linux 5.11.0-22-generic)
The new Toolbox is failing to sign into my jetbrains account.
It does pop open a browser (Chrome - Version 91.0.4472.114 (Official Build) (64-bit) ), and then Chrome makes its xdg call, but the Toolbox doesn't do anything. And upon looking in the setting section of the toolbox it continues to state that I am not logged in even after restarting the application.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have a second alternative authorisation method for any browser authorisation problems.
Please try to log in again, and when the browser is open, return to the Toolbox App and click "Troubleshooting…". Does it help?
I am having the same issue with jetbrains-toolbox-2.7.0.48109.tar.gz.
I unzip the tarball.
Run the jetbrains-toolbox in the bin folder.
Try to Log in…
Opens a page in the browser with the message:
Click Open JetBrains Toolbox or Allow in your browser to continue in the desktop app.
If you don't see the browser popup, go back to the JetBrains Toolbox App, click Troubleshoot, and follow the prompts. If that doesn't help, contact Support.
There is no Open JetBrains Toolbox to click. No Allow browser popup.
If I quickly click Troubleshoot… in the Toolbox whilst attempting to log in…
I can Copy link for a URL that generates me an IDE authorization token.
But when I paste that token into the space in the Toolbox App it is just rejected (and nothing happens).
I am stopped by this, mainly because it seems CLion 2025.1.1 has a serious bug in which it just crashes on startup or stops responding randomly. And so I was trying to upgrade to CLion 2025.1.3, but that lead me down this borked path. I would appreciate a timely response here.
We are now investigating the issue with Firefox's lack of browser popups. Just in case, check your browser settings to see if they are blocked.
Also, please restart your OS if it is a fresh install and retry authorisation via Troubleshoot. Does this help?
We need more info to investigate further. Please specify the following:
1. Do you use Linux in a virtual machine?
2. Do you have any other browser windows or tabs open with account.jetbrains.com? If so, please try closing them all and logging in again via Toolbox.
In the meantime, you can try activating CLion without a Toolbox app: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/clion/register.html.
It's been a while since the last update, but I've encountered the exact same problem now. Adding to the above behavior, the toolbox app cancels the login phase soon after clicking the login link, and it seems like the browser is sending something to the app, but the app ignores it and cancels the login procedure.
