What if I already have some JetBrains tools installed?
In most cases JetBrains Toolbox App can detect these IDEs and work with them, without supporting certain features. However, if you decide to stay with JetBrains Toolbox App, we'd recommend uninstalling these previously installed tools and re-installing them through Toolbox App.

The ability to identify installed and authenticated Jetbrain applications is very important, as it gives users greater sense of identity and productivity.
Sorry, but this answer doesn't fit my expectation from JetBrains product, is it so hard to discover the tool deployed by JetBrains installer ?
I uninstalled a manually installed version of Idea Ultimate, but now Toolbox does not offer this as an available option.
I just installed Toolbox to test on Fleet. It's not great that you basically have an Installed section, a Manually Installed section, and Available section. I have several JB products installed (manually). Given this is your ecosystem, it doesn't speak well that you cannot reconcile locations in a more seamless fashion.
I'm also noticing that it writes application into (I'm on a Mac) ~/Applications/JetBrains Toolbox
So I guess it appears you are going place it into specific user's directories only?
This is not a great answer, and has essentially stopped me from using the toolbox anymore.
I want my old apps, they used to exist in the toolbox, however the toolbox seems incapable of finding my apps that I clearly have installed, and are working just fine…
