Toolbox window not appearing on MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1

Have foudn that the Toolbox app cannot be launched at all on a MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 machine (Intel iMac from 2020). Any attempt to click on the app in the menu bar has no effect, right click correctly shows the Quit Toolbox App menu. There seems to be little to no diagnostic information available, so would appreciate any suggestions on how to debug the issue.

Thanks!

Hello Dave Paulstorermartin

Sorry for the inconvenience. Are you using an eGPU by any chance?

We have an open issue in our bug tracker: TBX-13143

If yes, please specify which eGPU you are using and try the workaround described in the issue.

Yes I'm using an eGPU. In fact, when detaching it I have no issues with the toolbox.
No need for the workaround, for the moment, as I'm not always having the eGPU attached, so it is not a problem to check for updates just when I'm not using the eGPU.
I can wait for the final fix. Thank you

Same problem here using MacOS Sonoma 14.7.4 (Intel)
Probably caused by my eGPU - but not tested without the eGPU !
My eGPU is a Razer X Core Chroma with an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT  installed.

I also encountered the same problem, my system is the 15.2 system of the M1 series, and the background is running, but it can't be started up.

Hello, currently, there is a known limitation on running Toolbox in an environment with an eGPU. Check TBX-13143 (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/TBX-13143) for more information and share your feedback to help our development team to prioritize it.
